Glowing Ice Stars

We made glowing ice stars! First you need to make Glow Water.
This will give you the green stars. The bluish stars were made using tonic water.
Then fill your trays and freeze overnight.
To get them to glow, turn off the lights, turn on the black light ($10 at Walmart),
and have fun!

Glowing Color Eruptions!

Fill a few cups with baking soda, mixed with a little bit of neon paint.
Put vinegar in a pitcher or measuring cup with spout.
(*Be sure to do this inside of a small bin to catch the overflow.*)
Go into a dark room, turn on a black light and let the fun begin!
(*A black light is necessary for this to glow.*)

She really enjoyed this, and kept pouring vinegar in the cups until it was gone! :)

Glowing Slime!

Today we made slime, using our regular recipe.
(1 cup Elmers glue, 1 cup liquid starch)
But this time, I divided it and added neon paint to it.
Then we took it into a dark room,
turned on the black light & enjoyed the glowing slime!

Here is the slime, when she was done playing.

All of the colors mixed together, under the black light.

(*A black light is needed for this to glow. They sell at Walmart for only $10)

Glow Bath

This was seriously Awesome!!
All you need is a black light ($10 at Walmart), glow water (for instructions on how
to make glow water, read this post.) and some neon paint.
You can also make some fluffy glow bath paint if you mix
a bit of shaving cream with neon paint.

Glowing Water Beads!

A while back, I showed you how to make glow water.
In case you didn't get to read that post, you can see it here.

To make Glow Water Beads, all you do is grow them in the glow water
instead of regular water. Then play in a dark room with a black light.
Have fun!

Glow water

GLOW water!
All you do is run water through the felt inside of a *Non-toxic* highlighter
and squeeze the ink out into a bowl.  Then it glows under a black light.
You can use this for many different activities, such as glowing water
beads, glow baths, glowing ice... and many more. I will be posting some
of the things we have used glow water for soon.
