It's time again for Movie Monday.
My movie this week is Christmas with the Kranks.
I LOVE this movie.
It stars Tim Allen as Luther Krank and Jamie Lee Curtis as his wife, Nora Krank.
Here is a brief summary that I wrote. lol.
Luther and Nora Krank's daughter goes to Peru with the Peace Corps.
So, they decide to "skip" Christmas. Instead, they are planning on going on a cruise. The entire neighborhood is furious that they will not be celebrating the holiday, and that they are not having their annual party.
On Christmas Eve, their daughter Nora calls, with a surprise -- She will be home in time
for their annual Christmas Eve party with the entire -- and she is bringing home her new fiance!
So, in the spirit of Christmas, the entire town pulls together to make it appear as if the plan to skip Christmas had never occurred. The party ends up being perfect, including a hickory honey ham, decorations, and fresh falling snow.
The movie is both funny and touching.
If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend that you do!
