St. Patrick's Day Bath

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Here's our theme bath for St. Patrick's day.
I dyed the water green, painted a rainbow and pot of gold on the wall,
and added a cloud with shaving cream.
Then I added some window decals, green bead necklaces and foam shamrocks
from Dollar tree. I also made shaving cream rainbow paint, using just food color and shaving cream!

Happy New Year, 2010!

I hope that everyone is having a great year so far in 2010.
For New Years Eve, we had a little family get together at my Mom & step dad's house.
This year, we brought our Wii & the new Band Hero games that we had just bought.
Here are just a few of the pictures. If you want to see more, check out my New Years Eve 2009 album on facebook. ;)

Nicholas singing. What a silly face. :) He's such a clown.
Brittany singing. She wants to be a singer. :)

My Mom rocking the drums. :)

My wonderful hubby, helping my niece with the drums. :)

And this, is the edible fruit arrangement that I made. It took me two hours to melt the chocolate, dip the fruit, cut the fruit & arrange everything.... :)

Well, that's it for now.
Happy Blogging!

I know it's a bit too early for Halloween, but I can't help it! lol.

If you are like me, you get impatient. Especially when it comes to holidays.
With Halloween coming, we're thinking:
trick~or~treating, apple cider & carving pumpkins.
However, It's too early to carve a real pumpkin.
So, Here are a few sites where you can carve virtual pumpkins.
I hope that this post will help with the impatience, at least a little.
Happy "Carving"!!

A few pictures from this Easter

We had a very nice Easter this year.

We dyed eggs on Friday.

N's friend, Will, joined us; as well as my Sister, her husband & my little nieces.

Saturday, My Brother & sister in law had an egg hunt for the kids.

Sunday we went to Church, then to my in-law's & my mom's house.

The kids are waiting to hunt for eggs.

Remember the reason for the season.
(Not just eggs & Bunnies! although they are fun, too.)

Good Friday

So, today is Good Friday.
What does that mean?
Good Friday commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
It can seem strange that a day of death and suffering is known as 'Good' Friday, but
the tragedy of the crucifixion of Jesus brought great 'good' to his followers.
Romans 5:8, “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:
While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
First Peter 3:18 tells us, “For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit.”

13 years!

Valentines day is a day for celebrating Love.
Everyone who has someone special in their life usually does something romantic
on Valentines day. Nick and I did- 13 years ago we got married!
I am so happy that we are still together, and in love even
more than we were back then.
God has truly blessed me with such a wonderful
husband & strong marriage.

Movie Review Monday

It's time once again for Movie Review Monday.

For my review this week, I chose Annabelle's Wish.

This is a very touching story for Children, about making sacrifices for others.

Here is a short clip.

Christmas tree

So, we bought our Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving.
Then Saturday we were all sick. We put the tree up and
decorated it Sunday. Then, we watched a Christmas movie, and watched our
Christmas tree fall over. A few ornaments broke, so we undecorated it.
Turns out the tree stand was too big for the tree we had. So, we bought a new one.
The tree is back up and decorated.
Here are a few pictures.
