Egg carton flowers

My nieces love sleeping over. Probably because they know we will

more than likely do something fun. I had to come up with something that was quick today,

which is when I remembered these egg carton flowers that I had made in school when

I was a kid!! Very easy to make. Cut apart an egg carton. Poke 2 holes in the bottom of each piece.

Feed a pipe cleaner in, fold over, and back out, then twist. Have kids paint flowers, and you have a beautiful gift or centerpiece!

Thankful Thursday

I am so Thankful for Family.

What a great gift God has given to me.

I have my husband and two children.

My Mom & Step dad.

(Although my biological father is no longer alive, I am thankful for the 12 years that God gave me with him.)

I have my sister & her family, and my brother and his.

I also have 3 step brothers.

Then I have my married family. I could not ask for a better family to be a part of.

They are warm & loving, and truly care about others.

I really feel blessed by God to have all of these people in my life.
